Woman sentenced in overdose death

AUSTINTOWN — A township woman received a lengthy prison sentence for her role in the death of a Mercer County woman two years ago.

Nicoletta Robinson, 34, was found guilty following a trial this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.

Mercer County District Attorney Pete Acker said Robinson received eight to 20 years for drug delivery resulting in death; and 15 months to seven years for criminal use of a communication facility.

The two sentences will run consecutively. Acker said she faces a little over nine years to 27 years.

According to 21-WFMJ TV, when Robinson was arrested in 2019, police said she supplied drugs to a 32-year-old Mercer woman who died from an overdose in Coolspring Township.
