Police activity reported Feb. 9-18:

Feb. 18, 4:44 a.m. — A security check was performed and nothing found after the discovery of an unsecured door at Bake Me Treats, 18 S. Main St.

Feb. 14, 1:50 a.m. — Mutual aid was provided to Boardman police involved with a hold-up alarm at Farmers National Bank, 102 W. Western Reserve Road.

Feb. 11, 6:25 p.m. — Possible identity theft (filing false unemployment claims) reported at a Water Street residence.

Feb. 10, 9:59 a.m. — Theft of a G2C 9mm Taurus firearm with attached light reported from a vehicle parked at Tiffany Boulevard and at an Alverne Drive residence.

Feb. 9, 10:20 p.m. — A security check was performed and nothing found following a side door alarm at the Western Reserve Joint Fire District station at 111 S. Main St.

8:24 p.m. — Matthew A. Miller, 29, 1958 Weston Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs (marijuana) and on a Youngstown warrant for a traffic offense following a traffic stop on state Route 170.

Police activity reported Jan. 28-Feb. 8:

Feb. 8, 6:23 a.m. — A deer was dispatched after a call to state Route 170 at Walker Court for an injured deer that may have been struck by a vehicle.

Feb. 7, 9:15 a.m. — A warning was issued to a dog owner on Edgewater Drive for leaving a dog outside for prolonged periods of time in dangerous weather.

Feb. 5, 10:18 p.m. — Assistance was provided to a stranded motorist who ran out of gas on state Route 170.

Feb. 3, 11:30 p.m. — A red vehicle, possibly a Kia, came through the Taco Bell drive-through with a female passenger handling a firearm. The vehicle was not found.

Jan. 30, 11:19 p.m. — Fight reported on Audubon Road near Windemere Place. No charges were filed.

Jan. 28, 9:37 a.m. — A Poland Manor resident claimed to be the victim of identity theft after receiving a 1099 tax form for unemployment benefits totaling $1,294.

Police activity reported Jan. 15-26:

Jan. 26, 1:01 a.m. — A security check was conducted and nothing found following a motion alarm at 20 E. McKinley Way.

Jan. 24, 11:42 a.m. — A manhole cover was located and replaced following multiple calls about it missing at Ohio 170 and Riverside Drive.

Jan. 23, 5:10 a.m. — A water main break in front of 26 Edgewater Drive was reported to Aqua Ohio.

Jan. 21, 4:12 p.m. — Nothing was found following a report of a suspicious person jumping up and down on the dugouts at Fireman’s Field.

Jan. 20, 5:49 p.m. — A deceased deer was removed from Ohio 170 and reported to the street department for pickup following a report of a deer being struck by a vehicle.

Jan. 19, 7:37 p.m. — Aundre T. London, 24, 6711 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a Boardman warrant for failure to appear on theft charges and due to COVID-19 restrictions at the Mahoning County Jail, was released on the scene of a traffic stop for loud music on U.S. 224.

Jan. 18, 2:02 a.m. — A security check was conducted and nothing found following a general burglar alarm at 111 College St.

Jan. 15, 6:03 p.m. — Assistance was provided to a homeowner at 8 Windemere Place in the removal of a bird that flew into the residence.
