WHAT: Board of Education meeting Thursday

PRESENT: Mark Zuppo, Diane Alejars, Vincent Ragozine, Sue Ellen Harris-Davis, Karen Thomas and Superintendent Bryan O’Hara.

The board:

• Accepted donations totaling $100;

• Recognized 10 students from the middle and high school for work done in and out of the classroom;

• Appointed Ragozine as a delegate to the Ohio School Boards Association Delegate Assembly;

• Accepted the resignation of bus driver Sherry Christner;

• Approved Jenna Mazzupappa as an assistant cheerleading coach;

• Approved Michelle Coggins, Amy Canterino, Samantha Nappo, Therese Meechan, Jennifer Nicholas, Susan Pope and Anna Scirocco for the resident educator program;

• Approved a leave of absence for Carol Sharples and Vicki Messuri;

• Approved Jennifer Kadel, Jenifer Parker, Leane Miller and Madelyn Annarella as supplemental positions;

• Approved John Cardiero as a basketball organizer for grades four through six and Nich Cochran as a volunteer;

• Authorized the superintendent to approve a stipend for Nicholas Cochran for supervisor duties for custodians, skilled maintenance and bus drivers.
