1 new death in Trumbull County

One of the six new deaths caused by COVID-19 reported in the state Monday was in Trumbull County, according to data from the Ohio Department of Health.

There have been 4,931 deaths in the state; 133 were in Trumbull County. In Mahoning County, 282 have died and in Columbiana County, 82.

Twenty-six new cases were reported Monday in Mahoning County, bringing the total to 3,249; 18 new cases were reported in Trumbull County, bringing the total to 2,008; and 10 new cases were reported in Columbiana County, bringing the total to 1,991.

Statewide, 1,057 new COVID-19 cases were reported, bringing the total to 159,964.

Columbiana and Mahoning counties remain at the orange level for risk of community spread of the virus, while Trumbull County is at the yellow level.

Statewide, 137,633 are presumed recovered, 1,719 in Trumbull County, 2,687 in Mahoning County and 1,833 in Columbiana County.

There have been 7.45 million cases in the United States, with about 210,000 deaths nationwide.
