BOARDMAN — Sheetz is opening its latest Mahoning Valley fuel and convenience store today at 134 Boardman Poland Road, near the intersection of Southern Boulevard.

The store is just more than 6,000-square-feet and will include a drive-thru and six double-sided pump stations, according to plans with the township zoning department. The site also has underground stormwater retention to help with flooding.

The company, based in Altoona, Pa., is donating $2,500 to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley and to the Special Olympics of Ohio to mark the opening. Sheetz operates 604 stores in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.
