Two men charged with counterfeiting

YOUNGSTOWN — Two men were indicted Wednesday on multiple counts of counterfeiting and other offenses.

Jermaine E. Young, 27, of Sixth Street in Struthers, was indicted on two counts of counterfeiting, one of possessing criminal tools, one of falsification and one of criminal trespass.

Bruce R. Bloomberg, 35, of Deltona Drive, New Middletown, was indicted on two counts of counterfeiting, one of possessing criminal tools and one of criminal trespass.

Boardman police investigated the two late April 30 at the Days Inn, 7393 South Ave., regarding subjects refusing to leave a room. That resulted in Bloomberg being charged with counterfeiting and possession of criminal tools and Young being charged with counterfeiting, possession of criminal tools and receiving stolen property.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Edward A. Brown Jr., 19, of West Warren Avenue, failure to comply with the orders of a police officer and violating rule or order of the department of health.

• Ama-Efura Dodson, 35, of the Mahoning County jail, escape, tampering with evidence, cocaine possession and possessing drug abuse instruments.

• Stacee A. Harris, 19, of East Boston Avenue, burglary and obstructing official business.

• Austin G. Jones III, 46, of Orlo Avenue, Warren, heroin possession and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility.

• Tanisha R. Johnson, 26, of Smithfield Street, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• Christopher T. Waller, 19, of Wirt Street, breaking and entering, contributing to the unruliness of delinquency of a child and criminal damaging or endangering.

• Sebastian Steighner, 18, of Mercer Street, Butler, Pa., breaking and entering, contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child and criminal damaging or endangering.

• Logan S. Italiano, 19, of Quentin Drive, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and discharge of a firearm in or near prohibited premises.

• Tylen M. McGeachy, 19, of Ferdinand Road, Austintown, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

• Jacobi L. Roberts, 23, of Southern Boulevard, being a felon in possession of a firearm and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

• Jeremiah A. Roth, 19, of the Mahoning County jail, grand theft of a motor vehicle.

• Shun V. Moreland Jr., 25, of Potomac Avenue, being a felon in possession of a firearm and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

• Ronald P. Venezia Jr., 43, of state Route 45, Lisbon, two counts of nonsupport of dependents.

• Eric L. Lott, 53, of Oak Street, nonsupport of dependents.

• Jamar A. Prieto Sr., 40, of Schenley Avenue, five counts of nonsupport of dependents.

The grand jury refused to indict Wesley Reith, rape, sexual battery. His age and address were not available.
