Woman gets probation on 3 felonies

YOUNGSTOWN– Anasha S. West, 24, of Oregon Avenue has pleaded guilty to tampering with records, forgery and identity fraud and was sentenced to one year of probation.

Prosecutors said the three felony charges relate to her using her sister’s identity to sign up for a state identification card. The offenses occurred from June 8, 2017, to May 21, 2018, according to her indictment.

Her probation will be under the supervision of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority. She was indicted on the three charges in March.

Judge Anthony Donofrio of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court presided over the case.
