Austintown racino closes following order of governor
AUSTINTOWN — Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course has closed amid coronavirus concerns.
Gov. Mike DeWine has limited the number of people at public gatherings to 100 or fewer. Also, President Donald Trump has declared a national emergency.
A statement on the company’s web page advises: “Due to the State of Ohio Mass Gathering Order limiting occupancy of 100 or less, Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course will be closed temporarily. With the closing of the Racino, ongoing or scheduled promotions, entertainment and events on the Racino calendar for the month of March have been postponed and/or canceled.”
