BOARDMAN — A crash remains under investigation after a man was struck while crossing a road at night and killed.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a call at 8:01 p.m. Friday on Glenwood Avenue near Devonshire Drive, according to a news release.

Donald Warrick Jr., 71, was crossing Glenwood, heading east, when a 2020 Acura TLX driven by Audrey Schwebel, 85, of Boardman, struck Warrick.

Warrick was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where he died.Witnesses said Warrick was wearing dark clothing, according to the report.

Schwebel was not injured during the crash. No charges have been filed.
