Men plead guilty to YSU break-in

YOUNGSTOWN — Two men who broke into the Stambaugh Sports Complex Athletic Training Office, 577 Fifth Ave., last July and took computer equipment pleaded guilty Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to two counts each of breaking and entering.

A YSU sports official said he left the complex July 14 to conduct a soccer camp on campus. When he returned, he found a door propped open. Computer equipment was then missing, he said.

Robert L. Frisbee, 37, of various addresses in Hubbard and Youngstown, and Robert L. Shepard, of Halleck Street in Youngstown, will be sentenced in November .

Judge R. Scott Krichbaum also ordered the men to have no contact with the university.
