AUSTINTOWN — Federal agents apparently searched a home under construction at Kenmar Court and Oakwood Avenue on Thursday.

Special Agent Vicki Anderson with the Cleveland FBI said authorized agents were active at that location, though she could not confirm they were acting on a search warrant. She said agents were at one other undisclosed location that morning as well.

The Kenmar Court property is owned by LEXREN LLC, according to the Mahoning County Auditor’s website.

Several local law- enforcement offices were notified as a courtesy, said Anderson, who said she suspected they may have been on site helping with the perimeter but were most likely not directly involved in FBI activity.

Anderson said no one was taken into custody after the action.
