YOUNGSTOWN – Donald Trump Jr., the president’s oldest son, told a crowd in Youngstown today that re-electing his father is the only way to save the country.

During his nearly 30-minute speech at the Maronite Center, Trump Jr. sharply criticized Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee, as being out of touch and corrupt.

If Biden is elected, Trump Jr. said he would be controlled by liberals who want to take away people’s freedoms and rights.

He also criticized the mainstream media for what he contends is a conspiracy to distract from his father’s accomplishments and Biden’s failures.

About 400 people attended the event, most of them not wearing face masks and in close proximity to each other. Political rallies are exempt from the state’s mask mandate.
