Numerous power outages remain following overnight storms, First Energy is reporting.

In Mahoning County, Berlin Township is among the hardest hit areas, with First Energy reporting 1,089 customers remain without power. The county has a reported 2,517 reported power outages. Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the First Energy website.

Trumbull County has 287 impacted customers, with restoration expected between 6:30 p.m. today and 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbiana County has 3,380 customers without power, according to the website. Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m.

An employee at the Giant Eagle on Doral Drive in Boardman confirmed that the store was closed earlier Wednesday due to power failure, but power was restored by noon.
