YOUNGSTOWN – There’s no beach, but it is outdoors. The Beach Boys will play the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on Aug. 27.

The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 RIAA Platinum and Gold record awards. The Rock And Roll Hall of Famers also were honored at the 2001 Grammy Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

With more than five decades of touring under their belts, The Beach Boys have performed more concerts than any major rock band in history.

Tickets range from $34.50 to $100 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Covelli Centreás Southwoods Health box office and through Ticketmaster. An online only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: SUMMER.
