YOUNGSTOWN – Boardman Township Trustee Larry Moliterno has a large lead in the race to keep his seat, according to very early election returns released by the Mahoning County Board of Elections.

Moliterno’s commanding lead has him with 59 percent of the votes counted. His closest challenger, Tracie Balentine, has about 18 percent of the votes.

Less than 5 percent of the votes have been tallied so far.
