DEAR EDITOR:

The last year and a half have been devastating for many businesses, and the Trumbull Retired Teachers Association salutes the following corporate sponsors of our 35th Annual Spelling Bee for their continued support.

They are Arby’s (Niles), Bruster’s Real Ice Cream (Girard), Eat’n Park, Elm Road Dairy Queen, Howland Giant Eagle, Girard Free Library, Huntington Bank, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, McDonald’s restaurants, Girard Waffle House and Wendy’s on Elm Road, as well as the Trumbull County Fair Board, who once again offered free admission to pre-registered spellers. Orchids to each of them!

As educators it is heartwarming to see businesses support education, and for this we are eternally grateful!
