LEGION CANCELS: The Hubbard American Legion Post 51 has canceled its meeting for Thursday. The next meeting is set for April 16 but may change based on status of coronavirus outbreak.

REFLECTION POSTPONED: The Lenten Reflection on “Jesus Prayer: A Time for Encounter” originally scheduled for Saturday at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Youngstown has been postponed.

FLEA MARKET: Derrick McDowell, founder of The Youngstown Flea, announced dates for the upcoming 2020 Season Five of “Market for Makers” and has set the next market on April 18.

Decisions are being made to possibly cancel that event and beyond based on the status of the coronavirus outbreak and large gatherings of people.

People are being asked to find creative ways to support local businesses — the makers, bakers, brewers and growers of their communities — both online and in-person.
