SPRING CLEANUP: Christmas decorations on graves at the Girard City Cemetery are to be removed for spring cleanup. After Wednesday, employees will remove decorations in preparation for Easter and Memorial Day.

SPEAKER CANCELED: The William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society has canceled Cleveland researcher Fred Saluga’s program on Bigfoot and UFO connections, scheduled for Saturday.

VICTORY CHRISTIAN AUCTION: The 21st annual Victory Christian School auction will be online only with bidding open 4 p.m. Tuesday to 10 p.m. April 2. Register at www.victory chargers.org. New items are being posted daily.

HUBBARD ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS: Hubbard city has openings on several boards / committees.

To be eligible for an appointment, volunteers should have interest or knowledge in the committee’s subject matter. Volunteers also should be available to meet at the committee’s regular meeting time. Residency in the city is also required.
