Behavioral health help still available

CADENCE CARE HELPS CLIENTS: Cadence Care Network, formerly Homes For Kids, remains open to current clients and new clients who are in need of behavioral health services during the COVID-19 health emergency. Counseling and other behavioral health services are done primarily over the phone and through video conferencing. There are no walk-in mental health assessments at this time. Anyone in need of behavioral health services, call the office 330-544-8005 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Cadence accepts all Medicaid and most private insurance. OFFICES CLOSED: Mill Creek MetroParks administration office, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Canfield, will be closed to the public until April 5 in an effort to help control the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The MetroParks is currently accepting bids for four individual capital improvement projects — Wick Recreation Area maintenance facility project, 2020 parking lot improvements, MetroParks Bikeway improvements, and Mill Creek Golf Course cart paths. All are posted for viewing on the MetroParks website at www.millcreekmetroparks.org. Contractors are to print and use the documents posted for official bid submittals.

FUNDRAISER RESCHEDULED: Because of the COVID-19 virus in Northeast Ohio, the Whispering Pines District Great Trail Council Boy Scouts of America’s 15th Annual “Celebration of Scouting” breakfast fundraiser has been rescheduled for June 23, at The Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road, Poland.
