TV personality to speak in Lowellville

SENIORS TO MEET: Lowellville Senior Citizens will gather for its monthly meeting noon Friday in the Lowellville City Hall conference room.

Dues of $10 will be collected for the new year and are due by April. Guest speaker will be Susan DeLeo, anchor of WKBN-TV’s “Health Chat Community Outreach.” Lunch will be provided by Gianna’s Catering.

New members are welcome. Birthdays and anniversaries for February will be acknowledged and a 50/50 raffle and bingo will follow the business meeting.

RECRUITMENT FAIR: The Mahoning County Educational Service Center will host a Preschool Assistant Recruitment Fair 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in the Jenkins Room at Reed Memorial Library, 167 E. Main St., Ravenna.

Candidates will learn about preschool assistant full-time and substitute positions for Mahoning County Educational Service Center. On-site interviews will be conducted, so potential candidates are asked to take their resumes. Preschool districts include Jackson-Milton Local Schools, Rootstown Local Schools and Southeast Local Schools.

SETON II TO MEET: Seton II will meet at noon Feb. 13 at A La Cart in Canfield. Claranne McCloud will present the reading, and the program is “Valentine Fun Day.”

Hostesses will be Judy Love, chairwoman, Pat Eddy and Cathy Marsh.

NUTRITION WORKSHOP: Food Insecurities Task Force Healthier You is the topic of a nutritional educational workshop 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Common Wealth Kitchen Incubator, 907 Elm St., Youngstown. The event is hosted by Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing our Neighborhoods.

Discussion will be on improving your knowledge of eating a well-balanced diet to improve your health.
