Rangers 4-H Club elects officers

The Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club elected 2020 officers during its February meeting.

Officers are Isabel Schors, president; Natalia Kresic, vice president; Delaney Crytzer, secretary; Avery Mountain, treasurer; Brandon Quear, Tony Schran and Cooper Selley, health and safety leaders; and Delaney Crytzer and Avery Mountain, recreation leaders.

Kim Lewis from the Mahoning County Green Team led a game and a presentation about recycling. Lewis also presented a recycled bag filled with useful items to Caylee Selley, who won a drawing for bringing a reusable beverage container to the meeting.

Clothing and quilting members will meet at 1:30 p.m. March 8 at the Joann ETC Store in Boardman to select supplies for their projects.

Members will cut out their projects at the home of Kathleen Moser on April 14.

Members signed up to participate in a County Workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. March 1 at the Extension Center in Canfield to make personalized pillowcases.

The Rangers 4-H Club will meet again 7 p.m. March 12 at the Ellsworth Fire Hall.

Members are to bring bags of wrapped candy to fill eggs for the Community Easter Egg Hunt that will take place April 10 at Western Reserve Schools.
