Easter Seals event in Girard

TUESDAY PRESENTATION: An Easter Seals program seminar will be held 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., Girard.

C. Lloyd from Easter Seals will talk about new programs for the Valley and all other services that are available to the community. Information is also available at www.multigen.org.

AARP TO MEET: The Canfield AARP No. 3104 will meet 1 p.m. today at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood-pressure checks and readings will be available noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to the meeting. The newly elected officers for 2020 will be installed at the meeting. Incoming president Byron Eichorn will be the speaker. The tour committee will make plans for bus trips for 2020 and will give a report.

DEBUTANTE PRESENTATION: Bal Mlodziezowy — the Debutante and Cavalier Crystal Presentation Ball — will be held Jan. 25 at Tremont City Side Ballroom, Cleveland. The organizers, including PolishYoungstown Inc., invite all women and men ages 16 to 23 to participate.

The event is held once every 10 years. The Grand Presentation Balls were held in stately venues across Europe.
