BOARDMAN — A strip plaza that once contained discount shoe retailer Payless across from the Southern Park Mall has been sold.

DV & GR Holdings LLC bought the 9,120-square-foot retail space at 48 Boardman Poland Road for $795,000 from Northmall Property LLC, which had owned the land since 2007, according to records from the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office.

The sale closed Tuesday.

According to a Platz Realty Group brochure on the commercial real estate site LoopNet, the building contains two suites, one of 2,880 square feet and the other, 6,240 square feet. The building’s exterior is newly remodeled, and the parking lot is paved and striped.

DV & GR Holdings LLC is affiliated with Wingstop, the chicken wing restaurant chain.
