Gas prices up in northeast Ohio
WARREN — The average price for gasoline across northeast Ohio is 7 cents higher this week at $2.35 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
In the Warren-Youngstown region, the average is $2.33 per gallon and in Niles, $2.36.
The average price this week last year was $2.42 per gallon.
Across the U.S., the national average increased by 2 cents on the week to settle at $2.40. Five states, including Ohio saw gas prices decrease. Michigan and Indiana were down 5 cents; Ohio, 2 cents; and North Carolina and Delaware, 1 cent, according to AAA.
