Workforce development group gets endorsement
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition has been endorsed by the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association’s leadership committee as a local industry sector partner for its effort to grow the state’s manufacturing talent.
Jessica Borza, coalition executive director, said the endorsement “lends additional credibility” to the group’s initiatives and successes, “all of which are geared toward helping our local manufacturer members profitably grow their businesses.”
Sector partnerships are recognized as a proven strategy for meeting the employment and skill needs of workers and employers.
