Biden camp issues statement on Pence visit here

The Joe Biden for President campaign today issued this statement on Vice President Mike Pence’s Visit to Ohio and Lordstown Motors:

“Ohioans are familiar with the Trump Administration’s lies, broken promises, and betrayal – this is the same administration that told the people of Lordstown not to sell their homes because they were going to bring strong union jobs back to the Valley. While Mike Pence tries his best to distract Ohioans from the Administration’s botched response to the public health crisis, working families across the state are suffering. Over 2,700 Ohioans have died from the coronavirus, the unemployment rate in Ohio is the highest it’s been in more than 4 decades, and 863,000 Ohioans are at risk of losing their health care due to the Trump Administration’s reckless lawsuit to invalidate the ACA. Joe Biden played a major role in the successful auto-recovery, saving up to 160,000 auto jobs, and as President, he’ll get to work creating jobs, protecting workers, and expanding health care. Ohioans want results, not photos – Mike Pence should save the taxpayers’ money and get back to work in Washington, D.C.”
