Easterseals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

Wednesday, May 15: Kielbasa and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, juice, wheat bread, cookie and milk

Thursday, May 16: Turkey hot dog on a bun, hash browns, veggie chili, pineapple, cookie and chocolate milk

Friday, May 17: Chicken teriyaki, diced potatoes, diced carrots, applesauce, bread, cookie and milk

Monday, May 20: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, bread, cookie and milk

Tuesday, May 21: Barbecued chicken, tater tots, capri vegetables, tropical fruit, wheat bread, cookie and milk

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at seven locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or older. Reservations must be made two working days in advance by 2 p.m. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486. The office is at 2959 Youngstown Road SE, Warren.

Wednesday, May 15: Sweet sausage with peppers and sauce on a bun (alt.: chicken fajita meat), cheesy hash browns, warm cinnamon apples, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk

Thursday, May 16: Chicken Parmesan (alt.: meatloaf and gravy), rotini and sauce, dinner roll with margarine, green beans, tossed salad with Italian dressing, fruit juice, cupcake or angel food cake and milk

Friday, May 17: Pork with Dijon mustard sauce over rice pilaf (alt.: breaded chicken), wheat bread with margarine, Brussels sprouts, carrots, pineapple tidbits, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk

Monday, May 20: Sloppy joe on a sandwich bun (alt.: pork riblet), macaroni salad, barbecued butter beans, peas, cantaloupe, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk

Tuesday, May 21: Roast beef with au jus (alt.: stuffed shells with sauce), red rosemary potatoes, bread with margarine, broccoli and cauliflower, mandarin oranges, ice cream or vanilla wafers and milk
