Trumbull Pound Dogs fundraiser

The Voices of The Trumbull Pound Dogs will host an auction basket raffle Thursday at Hartford Hill Winery, 3864 Bushnell Campbell Road in Fowler. The event runs from 5 until 8 p.m.

Voices of the Trumbull Pound Dogs is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to help socialize, advocate, network and raise money for dogs in need.

Food, wine, slushes and shopping with vendors will be offered in addition to the raffle. The raffle will include jewelry, household and personal items, luggage, pet items, small appliances and more.

Money earned from the raffle will go toward improving outside kennels and building a meet-and-greet shed.

Dog rescue benefit


Every Dog Matters Rescue will host its “Dancin’ For Dogs Dance Party” on Thursday at Rolling Mills Bar & Grill, 1025 S. State St. The basket raffles begin at 5:30 p.m. and dancing will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Music will be provided by DJ Stephen Barba. Cost is $5, with all proceeds going toward the rescue. Trampoline Parks to host summer camps


Extreme Air Trampoline Parks, a company with locations in Niles and Boardman will offer trampoline basketball, dodgeball and more than 10,000 square feet of jumping fun at Soaring Summer Camp.

The camp will start Monday and run through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day at Extreme Air Boardman, 360 McClurg Road. Kids will have a blast with open jump, Warehouse Wars Laser Tag, crafts and fun music. Lunch is provided for every camper. The camp is for two age groups: age 4-8 and age 9 and over. Cost is $125 per camper.
