Todd Simons scored 52 to tie the Falcons’ record for points in a game. Jack Morrison set the record in the 1954-55 season. Simons’ final basket came with three seconds remaining. Kris Brown scored 12 points. For the Golden Bears, Carl Sadler’s 26 points included four 3-pointers. Jerrell Jenkins scored 13 points.

YOUNGSTOWN

Milan Square scored 28 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Valley Christian (15-4) in a matchup of parochial and public Eagles. Jordan Trowers added 10 points for Valley Christian, which built a 40-16 halftime lead and cruised. Cam Resatar paced Hubbard with 15 points.

Niles 77, Howland 57

HOWLAND

Cyler Kane-Johnson and Corbin Foy combined for 54 points as the Red Dragons (11-10) blow out the Tigers on the road. Foy scored 27 points, including five 3-pointers, and Kane-Johnson also finished with 27 points. Nathan Barrett led Howland (6-15) with 22 points and Joey Vitali added 11.

Abe Bayus led a balanced Golden Flashes attack with 16 points and Joe Abramovich (14), Nick Stahlman (13) and Chase Wheelock (11) also reached double figures. Micah Dukes led the Leopards with 14 points and Ezell Brown and Travis Myers each had 13.

LaBrae used a 32-7 third quarter run to break the game open. The Vikings were led by Benton Tennant with 22 points. The trio of Walt Allie, Connor Meyer, and Tyler Stephens added 11 points each for LaBrae. Crestview was led by Drake Golden with 22 points.

WINDHAM

Daniel Kramer grabbed his 500th career rebound in the win. Kramer finished with 11 points and five rebounds. Jeff McAuley led the Bulldogs with 16 points and Michael Cougras added 14. Bert Jones scored eight points to lead the Bombers.

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Girard had four players score in double digits in the win. Christian Graziano led the Indians with 16. Austin Claussell had 15, Matt Payich finished with 14 and Adam Connelly recorded 13. Shane Eynon led the Tigers with 17 points and Beau Brungard scored 16.

CORTLAND

The Bulldogs jumped on the Braves early for a 27-10 first-quarter lead and dominated. Jeff Remmick led Lakeview with 19 points, Daniel Evans and Clay Lazzari each had 14 and Brandon Kilpatrick added 12. Aiden Miller led Badger with 12 points and Keith Barto added 11, including a 9-for-9 effort at the foul line.
