Cooper, Assistant Principal and Associate Athletic Director Michael Cochrane and Athletic Department Secretary Jackie Bower donated the flowers for the players’ parents. Canfield High School choir member Claire Audia sang the National Anthem. John Petracci served as Senior Night announcer.
As part of the celebration, before the game began, the six senior members led their team in running through a hoop banner which recognized the seniors.
The Canfield High School Soccer Boosters hosted a reception in the high school’s cafeteria for the families and teammates of the senior team members after the varsity team’s 3-1 victory over Boardman. The cafeteria was decorated by the parents of the junior players to honor the senior players, as is the Canfield High School soccer tradition.
