The Canfield High School boys soccer team, along with family and friends, recognized the five senior members of their team in honor of Senior Night on Oct. 2.

Nick Phillips, Brett Lewis, Frank Phillips, Max Lumsden and Maleck Saleh were recognized before the varsity game versus Austintown Fitch.

Nick Phillips was escorted by his parents Frank and Rebecca, with his banner carried by his sisters Audrianna and Ciara; Lewis was escorted by his parents Don and Leslie; Frank Phillips was escorted by his sisters Audrianna and Ciara; Lumsden was escorted by his parents Doug and Karen, with his banner carried by his sisters Moira and Maggie; and Saleh was escorted by his parents Dr. Ayman and Heidi, with his banner carried by his brother Jad.

The players and their parents walked through the double line of their teammates after they were greeted by Head Coach Phil Simone and CHS Athletic Director Greg Cooper.

Right before the game began, the five senior members led their team in running through a banner recognizing the seniors.

The Canfield High School Soccer Boosters offered a dinner in the high school’s cafeteria after the varsity game for the parents, family, friends and teammates of the five senior team members. The junior class team members parents organized the dinner to honor the senior players, as is the Canfield High School soccer tradition.
