Winter Wonderland planned in Mespo
Winter Wonderland celebrations are planned 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the next three Saturdays at the Mesopotamia Memorial and Historical Association, 8788 state Route 534.
This Saturday will feature a Civil War string band from noon to 3 p.m. A live nativity and harmonic music is planned for Dec. 11, and Santa Claus will be there on Dec. 18.
Decorated trees will be on display all three Saturdays, and visitors can buy tickets for a tree raffle. Admission is a suggested donation of $2 and includes a cookie and beverage.
