Ballet Theatre Ashtabula will perform “The Nutcracker” for a three-weekend run starting Friday at Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 W. 13th St.

Last year’s production was canceled due to COVID-19. Social distancing still is being observed in the theater, so seating will be limited. In addition to watching the ballet in person, the 2 p.m. performance Dec. 11 will be livestreamed and can be accessed for $10 with tickets purchased at ashtabulaartscenter.org.

Live performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m Sunday through Dec. 19 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16. Tickets are $15 adults, $13 students, senior citizens and military and $11 children ages 2 to 12 if purchased in advance online or by calling 440-964-3396. Tickets are $2 more at the door. Half-price tickets are available Dec. 16 with donation of non-perishable food items for Faith Food Pantry.
