YSU offers four virtual sessions on the arts

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University’s visual and dramatic arts department is offering four virtual sessions to learn more about specific art programs available.

The first session at 6 p.m. Monday will focus on art education and will be hosted by faculty members Lillian Lewis and Samuel Adu-Poku. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with current students and recent graduates to ask questions and gain information.

Those interested should register online at ysu.edu/academics/cliffe-college-creative-arts/studio-art-major. A link will be emailed to gain entrance to the sessions. Additional sessions are planned for interdisciplinary studio art (6 p.m. March 16), sculpture and ceramics (6 p.m. April 13) and graphic + interactive design (6 p.m. May 10).
