Westminster displays YSU print project

“Red Press Collaborative: Decennial Celebration” is on display through Feb. 19 at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.

The exhibition features prints created through Youngstown State University’s printmaking program’s initiative, the Red Press Collaborative.

Exhibiting professional artists, representing 10 years of YSU’s program, include Janet Ballweg, Michael Barnes, Charles Beneke, Nicole Hand, Matthew Hopson-Walker, Anita Jung, Sarah Marshall, Sean P. Morrissey, Kristin Powers-Nowlin, Humberto Saenz and Susanne Slavick. Each artist collaborated with printmaking students to create a print to be sold through the program.

The prints are available for purchase by making a $125 donation to the program.

The work can be viewed at the college’s Foster Art Gallery. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
