Hoyt exhibits Pittsburgh artist
The work of Pittsburgh artist Lauren Scavo-Fulk is featured in an exhibition at the Hoyt Center for the Arts, 124 E. Leasure Ave., New Castle, Pa.
“Locality” features landscape drawings that examine the connection between one’s consciousness and the surrounding environment, specifically the way in which our unique experience of a place influences our individual interpretation of it. While the works appear photographic, closer inspection reveals tiny expressive marks that create what the artist calls the “illusion of objectivity.”
