Vintage fashions shown
ASHTABULA – “Vintage Threads: Eight Decades of Ashtabula Women’s Style” runs through September at the Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 W. 13th St.
Curated by Susan Powers, the exhibit features women’s clothing and accessories from 1900 to 1987. The pieces include designer labels and custom items ranging from dressing gowns and sundresses to evening and wedding gowns. Powers has documented the individual histories of the pieces and their owners.
A reception is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. In conjunction with the exhibit is a vintage clothing sale with all proceeds benefiting Ashtabula Arts Center. For more information, call 440-964-3396.
