Butler director speaks at Tyler History Center

YOUNGSTOWN –Louis Zona, executive director of the Butler Institute of American Art, will speak at noon today at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., Youngstown, as part of its Bites and Bits of History series.

Zona will speak to the relationships many U.S. Presidents had with art and artists.

In anticipation of the Butler’s centennial anniversary, MVHS will recognize this celebration and invite Zona to reflect on this milestone within the Mahoning Valley’s cultural history.

The program is free, and attendees may bring their own lunch. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
