Ms. Penny Brick of East Liverpool is announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Sunny Brick, to Eric Wilhelm, son of Dick and Connie Wilhelm of New Philadelphia and Ina Roberts of Dover.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Mark Brick.

She is a 2002 graduate of East Liverpool High School, a 2006 graduate of Kent State University with a degree in integrated mathematics education and a 2010 graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a master’s degree in educational leadership with a focus on curriculum and instruction. She is a geometry teacher at East Liverpool High School.

Mr. Wilhelm graduated in 1996 from New Philadelphia High School and in 2001 from The Ohio State University with a degree in atmospheric science. He is the chief meteorologist at WFMJ-TV Youngstown.

The couple are planning a Dec. 18, 2021, wedding to be held at the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
