Dan and Pat Rotar of Boardman are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Michael John Rotar, to Morgan King McCann, daughter of Kathleen King of Canton and Greg McCann of Chicago.

Mr. Rotar graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. He is employed as manager–pricing and strategy with NBCUniversal Media in New York City.

Miss McCann graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. She is in the post-baccalaureate pre-medicine program at New York University.

The couple is planning an August 2020 wedding at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton.

Next year, in June 2021, they will renew their vows at the the Basilica of St. John the Baptist and have a cocktail hour and dinner reception to be held at Brookside Country Club, also in Canton.
