Something on my to-do list finally got done, and I can now use your help — ASAP.
I’d read about a group of folks who spend time each day walking the dogs at the Mahoning County Dog Pound on Industrial Road. Last Saturday, I was able to join them, along with my son, Max. It was a rewarding time.
I will write about it more in detail at some point in the very near future, but quickly:
“My” dog was beautiful, and of all ironies, she was picked up in Poland about a mile from my house.
She was extremely warm to me and Max. So she no doubt came from a loving home somewhere in that vicinity — or perhaps Springfield Township or Boardman or Struthers.
She’s destined to be euthanized as she’s been there for two weeks.
Take a look at the attached photos. I’d love to find the owner or find her a new owner.
