As referenced in my Sunday column, I had a fun day Friday judging spinach dishes at the Canfield Fair.
The folks at Farris Marketing made a video that was part spoof, part story. Making the video was as fun as tasting the spinach.
But our fair fun was bested by the prank the WFMJ staffers pulled on Friday on weatherman Mark Monstrola. Mark was live on TV from the fair when a "fan" came running into the shot yelling "Oh my god, it's Mark Monstrola..."

Todd, remember the $50 bill I handed you for the fake "bribe" on the video interview? It was supposed to be used just as a prop, man. You said you'd give it back right after the interview, then you rushed out because you said the "spinach dishes were getting cold." I wouldn't have minded, but you insisted on 3 takes and a new $50 bill each time! Don't make me send Paulie Walnuts to collect, pal.
Is this the same Farris Marketing that helped Boardman Township pass a levy last Fall and add an additional $100 to my property tax? Keep the money, Todd.
"God" should be capitalized, even in quote.
