This weekend is the annual Summer Festival of the Arts at YSU.
It’s a must-event for the summer calendar, and in Tuesday’s Vindy, you’ll find a complete guide to the Saturday-Sunday event.
If you were planning to go out of town this weekend, cancel it.
In addition to the arts fest, the valley will host a professional bike race, St. Nicholas Greek Summerfest, the Smoky Hollow 5K run, YSU fireworks as part of the Forte on the Fifty, and the best youth baseball in the valley at Field of Dreams in Boardman.
Anchoring it all is the arts fest: 61 artists, 49 performances, 21 cultural activities, 18 ethnic groups — all over two days on campus.
