OK, maybe it’s a reach to say Facebook causes lower grades.
But I offer the following tidbit as your “no kidding” bit of the day:
On Thursday, at the annual American Education Research Association, two enterprising Ohio college students will present a study (219 students) that shows Facebook users had lower GPAs than students who did not use Facebook.
Seriously.
Facebook users had GPAs of 3 to 3.5, while their non-Facebook peers had GPAs in the 3.5 to 4 range.
It’s a fun read. Click here to check it out.
