During a discussion Friday morning about Barack Obama's political problems as a result of incendiary racial comments made by his pastor, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough mentioned Youngstown, Ohio, as he talked about the racial divide that still exists in America.
The segment of the Scarborough show can be viewed by clicking on the following link Joe Scarborough.
Question: What do you think the former Republican congressman meant when he mentioned Youngstown?
Comments
He meant that clearly Youngstown has serious racial issues.
It's a vauge reference only, but Youngstown has had the worst homicide per capita rate of any American city in the past and may get that dubious title again in the near future at the present rate. DC political pundents took notice of this long ago. Youngstown, Ohio is a templete for the ailing American city.
Why was it relevenat to mention his former political party affiliation? I'll bet you a bottle of the finest highland scotch that if he'd been a democrat, it would of gone unmentioned.
