Campbell's Chris Hazimihalis will fight his second pro fight in a couple minutes. I'll try to blog some details as soon as it's over but I also need to leave quickly so I can grab an interview with him.
Hazimihalis, an accomplished amateur, won his pro debut in December of the undercard of Kelly Pavlik's win over Miguel Espino.
The fight before Hazimihalis features Thomas Hearns' son, Ronald, who is 23-1 with 18 KOs. His one loss came against a kid named Harry Joe Yorgey, who followed that victory up with a bout against Alfredo Angulo. Yorgey's trainer for that fight? Jack Loew.
As Chuck Perazich would say, there's always a Youngstown connection.
Alas, Yorgey got knocked out in the third round.
Oh, and Hearns just knocked out his opponent with a vicious straight right. Looked like his daddy.
