Former boxing champion Roy Jones Jr. was in town to see one of his fighters, Gabe "Big G" Brown, fight former WBC heavyweight champion Samuel Peter. Jones and Brown are both Pensacola, Fla., natives.
Brown, who weighed in at 363 1/2-pounds, was TKO'd in the fourth round but made a lot of fans in Youngstown.
Afterward, Jones was brought into the ring, where he was asked by the announcer if he could bring "Big G" back to Youngstown.
"Y'all want him?" Jones said, drawing huge roars. "I love youngstown and thank you all for supporting everything I do. If y'all want him back, I'll bring him back."
Former heavyweight champion Buster Douglas, a Columbus, Ohio, native best known for giving Mike Tyson his first pro defeat, also attended the fight.
"There's no place like home," Douglas said. "Go Buckeyes."

Why did the fans like him? What did he do special?
His fatness was so awesome and he was showboating in the ring. Very entertaining guy. Couldn't fight at all but it was amusing.
As great as it was to see him get knocked out,he is a disrespect to the sport. You dont showboat and throw bolo punches at a former world champion, when 1 there was no trash talking before fight and 2 he wasn't dominating or even accomplishing anything in the ring. You should respect your opponent. It was obvious that he is a friend of the same man who disrespected Lacy his entire fight before last.Shame on the fans for playing to this "athelete".
