Greatest Juniors tee up Monday at Salem
By: Todd Franko | June 04, 2012Greatest juniors is off to one with Pine Lakes and Mohawk Trails in the books. Sixteen golfers are set for July 21 at Trumbull.
Our next qualifier is Monday, June 18 at Salem Golf Club. Tees start at 10 a.m.
Salem is a great golf club with some of the most undulating terrain you’ll see. I played a scramble there last year, and it was one puzzling read after another.

The first qualifiers from the May 20 Pine Lakes event are:
U-17 Boys: Evan Standohar, Girard, and Jason McQueown, Poland
U-17 Girls: Gina DePasquale, Hubbard; Melinda Hannon, Poland
U-14 Boys: Mark Standohar, Joe Shushok
U-14 Girls: Skylar Ladig, Kaci Carpenter
The finals are July 21 at Trumbull Country Club; 48 golfers will compete.
