The Stone Brewing Company has been a leader in the domestic craft brewery arena for over 15 years.  in fact, the Escondido, CA based brewery will celebrate its 16th anniversary next week. First and forermost Stone makes high quality beers inclduing their world famous Arrogant Bastard Ale.  The impressive lineup goes well beyond Arrogant Bastard, as you can see below.

Stone is also a leader in creativity.  They use unusual ingredients and combinations of spices.  The are one of the forerunners in using oak aging for the beer they produce.  This centuries old practice was virtually dead in the US before Stone and a handful of other craft breweries brought it back.  Stone also produces a lot of "vintage ales" that can be aged for many years before consumption.

Stone Brewing Company representatives will be pouring an incredible lineup of beers right here in our valley tonight!  Vintage Estates will be feauring a Stone tasting tonight (August 8th) starting at 6:30.  The "888" tasting features 8 Stone beers on tap on the 8th day of the 8th month.  Here's a look at the lineup for the taste:

Stone Pale Ale

Double Dry Hopped Ruination

2012 Russian Imperial Stout

Highway 78

Arrogant Bastard

09/09/09 Vertical Epic

11/11/11 Vertical Epic

Le Citruelle

Stone vertical flights will be availble in addition to this incredible lineup.  These verical flight tastings give us the opportunity to taste the aged beers over a period of different years.  Some of the beers being offered at Vintage Estates tonight are quite rare and difficult to find in stores anywhere in the United States.

Don't miss this great chance to meet reps from Stone and mingle with fellow beer officianados and lovers of the suds.  See you at Vintage Estates tonight!
