Say WHAT?"LEADERS"? or: Nostra-louie ?????

Did I REALLY hear Boy-George NOW  talk about leadership ( "...find out, as leaders...") ?

Dollars to house federal prisoners in the Mahoning County Jail are DOWN 74% from just a year ago.

I recall in the last  Mahoning County Criminal Justice(so-called) Working Group meeting - the ONLY one that media was allowed in, and I was the ONLY media there - a question was asked " what happens if we lose the federal inmate dollars? " ---- the response, from the commissioner's 'voice' : 'I dont answer hypothetical questions ' <Hypothetic \Hy`po*thet"ic\, Hypothetical \Hy`po*thet"ic*al\, a. [L. hypotheticus, Gr. ?: cf. We also know that the City de Youngstown is no longer  financially "supporting" the Mahoning County Jail.

So, will those "leaders" do as predicted on the LbF show : attempt to pass the tax by  just re-using the video of  the Mahoning County version of  The Running of the Bulls (remember how that ends)---  'running out the open doors of the county jail' ?---and frighten the vote out of  WE-the people ,instead of earning the vote ???

Where are those "leaders" that George the Lad referred to ??

Pass the tax by being forthright and honest with  we-the people.  When invited  to explain and educate - show up.  Treat those who, with their purchases,  support the county, pay your salary and benefits and RELY on YOU to do the right thing - with the respect they deserve, not with arrogance. Learn that today's hypothetical can quickly become tomorrow's reality(ever hear of a back-up plan).  Don't assume that things will always work out because you think they always have worked out.   Don't think that the coming indictments will make you look superior. Don't assume that the coming indictments will absolve you of  your failures. Don't assume that the coming indictments will appear to be a cleansing, therefore:  'pass the tax' .....need I go on ???

Govern  with courage and conviction - with open minds and open hearts.  Don't insult we-the people with that "it's only a fraction of a penny" crap.

The pass the tax campaign should have begun last fall - WE-the people , cannot afford for YOU to  lose another day.

In other words : SERVE,don't just take..............

Oh, and by the way, if you're going to refer to your selves as LEADERS, then for this county's sake , LEAD !!!!!
